• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing\n
• Current Iowa RN license\n
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (BLS/ACLS through American Heart Association; PALS/TNCC preferred)\n
• At least 1 year of Emergency Room (ED/ER) nursing experience preferred\n
• Strong skills in triage, patient assessment, EKG interpretation, and emergency interventions\n
• Ability to complete all employment and health requirements prior to start date (immunizations, physical, drug screen, background checks, mandatory education modules)\n

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department (ED)\n
• Perform triage, rapid patient assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring for critically ill or injured patients\n
• Administer medications, start IVs, perform wound care, and assist with procedures per facility protocol\n
• Direct and guide patient teaching and coordinate care with ancillary personnel and clinical support staff\n
• Maintain professional nursing standards and contribute to quality patient outcomes in the ER\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, advanced practice providers, and support services\n
• Participate in holiday and weekend rotations as part of the ER team\n
