American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Room position requiring NY licensure, Epic proficiency, and a full certification suite including TNCC and PALS for a 32-week assignment.

• Hospital-based Emergency Room setting
• 12-hour night shifts on a biweekly schedule of 80 hours (three 12-hour shifts one week, three 12-hour shifts plus one 8-hour shift the next)
• Schedule runs Monday through Sunday with no block scheduling
• Minimum of every other weekend required, with schedule flexibility to meet unit and patient care needs
• Epic EMR experience required

• Active NY RN license required; proof of pending application with applied date is acceptable
• Certifications required: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (or proof of scheduled class with applied date)
• Preferred certifications: CEN, ENPC, CPEN, ABLS
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience from within the past 2 years required (non-negotiable)
• At least two professional references from a Nurse Manager and/or Supervisor required, with one from within the past 6 months and one from within the past year of employment
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• This position is interview-to-offer (IVO) — no traditional interview process
• Bi-weekly Monday orientations available for onboarding
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start date
• Public transportation is not accessible in this area; a personal or rental vehicle with all-season or snow tires (November–April) is strongly recommended
