Emergency Department Registered Nurse - Night Shift\n\n
Assignment Duration\nThis is a 13-week contract position.
\n\nSchedule\n3x12-Hour Night Shifts (19:30 - 08:00).
\n\nJob Description\nThe Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide crucial care during night shifts, working in a fast-paced environment to treat patients presenting with diverse and critical health issues. Responsibilities include managing patient assessments, interventions, and coordination of care for a variety of diagnoses and emergencies.
\n\nResponsibilities\n- \n
- Provide patient-centered nursing care in an emergency department setting. \n
- Assist in the management of multiple patient cases, including those requiring urgent intervention. \n
- Utilize EPIC charting system for documentation and updates on patient status. \n
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care. \n
- Participate in emergency procedures and maintain readiness for critical situations. \n
- \n
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with emergency department experience preferred. \n
- Must possess an active RN license in the State of Maryland or Compact License. \n
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI, and TNCC. \n
- Experience with EPIC charting system is required. \n
- Travel experience required; first-time travelers may be considered with 5+ years of experience. \n
