Job Description\nAmerican Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with ACLS, BLS, and NIH certification for a night shift contract requiring Epic experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n- Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital
- Patient population includes trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro cases
- Nurse to patient ratio is 1:2
- Night shifts, 3x12 hours, 19:00 – 07:00
- Required to work every other weekend
- Floating to IMC may be required within scope of practice
- Uses Epic EMR and Epic experience is required
- Primary care for critically ill trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro patients
- Not eligible for block scheduling
- Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a different rate
- Maximum one requested time-off allowed per contract
- No on-call requirements
- No accommodations for block scheduling
- Active MD or compact RN license, pending license accepted
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience with preference for 3 years
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Experience working with Epic EMR is required
- Two references required
- First-time travelers are not accepted
