Job Details:

• Varied work schedule with weekend and holiday requirements
\n• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of ICU patients
\n• Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills for critical care patients
\n• Current valid RN license required in state of practice or compact RN licensure
\n• BLS certification required
\n• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
\n• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
\n• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to ICU area
\n• Bachelor's degree preferred
\n• Professional certification preferred
\n• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
\n• Formulate comprehensive plans of care including discharge planning
\n• Implement care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision
\n• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching
\n• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
\n• Provide supervision and direction to licensed and non-licensed personnel
\n• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics
\n• Requires adequate hearing, visual acuity, fine motor skills, and eye-hand coordination
