RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide critical care nursing in adult ICU setting
\n• Assess patient conditions and develop comprehensive care plans
\n• Treat wounds and provide advanced life support
\n• Assist physicians with medical procedures
\n• Monitor and record patient vital signs
\n• Operate and adjust ventilators, monitors, and other critical care equipment including IABP
\n• Administer intravenous fluids and medications
\n• Perform suctioning procedures
\n• Collaborate with critical care team members
\n• Respond to life-threatening emergencies using established protocols
\n• Serve as patient advocate
\n• Provide education and support to patient families
\n• Care for pre- and post-operative patients
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS (must be American Heart Association certified)
\n• Alabama RN license or multi-state RN license required
\n• Minimum 2 years recent ICU nursing experience required
\n• 2 positions available for vacant positions
