This is a 13-week contract position.

\n\nSchedule\n

12-hour night shifts, three times per week, every other weekend, rotating major holidays.

\n\nJob Description\n

The ICU serves critically ill patients with complex needs and potential life-threatening conditions. This position requires hands-on nursing care with advanced monitoring and treatment of various critical conditions.

\n\nResponsibilities\n
    \n
  • Provide care for 1 to 2 patients, with occasional oversight of a third patient.
  • \n
  • Perform hemodynamic monitoring and manage critically ill patients.
  • \n
  • Titrate drips including Levophed, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, and Insulin.
  • \n
  • Assist in invasive procedures and care for patients with acute medical conditions such as Sepsis, Acute MI, and strokes.
  • \n
  • Work independently but collaborate with hospitalists and available specialists.
  • \n
\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n
    \n
  • Two years of critical care experience is required.
  • \n
  • Experience with CRRT, IABP, and Impella is preferred.
  • \n
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS; preferred: PALS, TNCC.
  • \n
  • Nursing license required to practice.
  • \n
