American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with an active IL license to work days at a Level I trauma center with every other weekend and on-call requirements.

• Position is in the ICU at an acute care, Level I trauma, Magnet-designated hospital
• Care for trauma and burn patients, with additional medical and cardiac overflow cases
• Average daily census is 10 patients
• Uses Cerner for charting
• Three 12-hour day shifts per week, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Required to work every other weekend
• On-call is required
• Travelers will be the first to float to other ICUs (Medical, Neuro, Cardiac), IMC, and general floors as needed
• No radius restriction for local candidates
• Functions as part of a multidisciplinary ICU team in a Level I trauma environment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Scrub attire may be any solid color
• Parking permit required; no cost to staff
• Requested time off ideally should not exceed 5 days during contract
• Orientation will include parking permit form completion

• Active IL RN license required at time of application
• Minimum of 1 year recent ICU RN experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
• NIHSS, TNCC, and TNS certifications are preferred
