RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n• Schedule requires 3 shifts per week (3x12 hours)
\n• Weekend coverage required, likely every other weekend
\n• Patient ratios: 3:1 during days, 4:1 during nights
\n• Float to medical-surgical and rehabilitation units as needed
\n• Expected to work 1 of 2 major holidays and surrounding days (July 4th and Memorial Day)
\n• 12 hours of orientation provided
\n• Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed
\n• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
\n• ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA or ARC only)
\n• EPIC charting experience required
\n• Previous charge experience preferred
\n• No license hits accepted
\n• Care for adult and geriatric patients in a 30-bed unit
\n• Handle patient diagnoses including sepsis, NSTEMI, DKA/HHS, CVA, respiratory failure, CHF, and acute renal failure
\n• Perform special procedures including post-catheterization care, TEE/cardioversion, stress tests, and post-operative care
\n• Work with specialized equipment including cardiac monitors, PCA pumps, and end tidal CO2 monitors
\n• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility environment
\n• Complete pre-start modules taking approximately 5-6 hours
