- Beds: 14\n
- Patient Ratios: Labor 1:1–2, Nursery 1:6, Postpartum 1:6, Mother–Baby couplets 1:3\n
- Scrub Color: Any solid color; OR scrubs provided as needed\n
- EMR: Centricity (Centricity EMR experience preferred)\n
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1800–$1890 (competitive travel nurse pay)\n

- Active RN licensure in the state of practice required; ability to obtain Texas RN licensure or a Compact RN license preferred (TX nursing jobs)\n
- BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)\n
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required\n
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience; postpartum and mother–baby couplet experience required\n
- Nursery/newborn experience preferred; neonatal resuscitation and newborn assessment skills important\n
- Travel nurse requirement: must live more than 50 miles from the facility\n

- Provide high-quality, patient-centered maternity and perinatal care to laboring mothers and newborns across L&D, postpartum, and nursery settings\n
- Monitor fetal heart tracings and maternal status; assess and intervene appropriately within scope of practice\n
- Perform and assist with deliveries, support mother–baby couplets, and manage postpartum care\n
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, lactation consultants, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe maternal and neonatal outcomes\n
- Document patient care accurately and timely in Centricity EMR\n
- Educate and support patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care\n
- Maintain a safe, clean clinical environment and follow hospital policies and evidence-based maternity nursing standards\n
