American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring an active Iowa or Compact RN license and current AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications.
Details- Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
- Scheduled for weeknights with occasional weekend nights
- 12-week contract
- Active RN license in Iowa or a Compact state license currently in good standing
- Current AHA BLS required
- Current ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
- Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Strong critical thinking and sound nursing judgment skills
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
- Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team using evidence-based practice to promote safe and optimal patient outcomes
- Directs support staff in the provision of patient care
- Strong empathetic listening, tact, and effective verbal communication skills are essential for this role
