Travel Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) Compensation
- The pay for this position is $55.00 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position is 7pm to 7am (3 x12s)
Travel Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities
- 28-bed MS unit that provides 24 hours a day, 7 day a week nursing care to geriatric patients, age 65 and older who require inpatient acute care needs or need close observation and testing.
- Overflow Medical and/or Surgical patients are also placed on the unit.
- The unit focuses on four core features known as the 4Ms.
- These core features are evidence-based and form the foundation for age-friendly care.
- The 4Ms What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility guide our interdisciplinary team in organizing care and focusing on the older adults wellness and strengths rather than solely on medical diagnoses.
- The team incorporates the 4Ms into existing care and deploys resources intended to prevent functional decline while addressing acute medical needs.
- Patients on the unit present with a variety of medical diagnoses such as GIB, UTI, trauma, infection, pneumonia, CHF, change in mental status and failure to thrive.
