- Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital laboratory or clinical laboratory setting\n
- HTL certification from ASCP required (ASCP HTL; not HT)\n
- Proven experience with Immunohistochemistry (IHC) stains and troubleshooting IHC protocols\n
- Strong skills in embedding, microtomy, and slide preparation\n
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and maintain a professional, positive demeanor in a fast-paced lab\n

- Embed tissues and perform microtomy to produce high-quality sections for diagnosis\n
- Perform special stains and manage/troubleshoot staining instrumentation and programs\n
- Log incoming tissues, prepare slides for staining, and file slides and cassettes accurately\n
- Operate advanced laboratory equipment including Roche Benchmark Ultra IHC stainers, Sakura tissue processors, Thermo Fisher embedding systems, and Leica microtomes\n
- Maintain documentation and follow quality control procedures in the hospital laboratory\n
- Uphold a professional and easy-going attitude while supporting a collaborative clinical lab team\n
