• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician (generalist) in a hospital or clinical laboratory\n
• ASCP certification required (verification needed) — ASCP MLT preferred\n
• Experience with Epic LIS or similar laboratory information systems\n
• Hands-on experience with the following departments and instruments:\n

  • Blood Bank: Echo\n
  • Hematology / Coagulation: Sysmex 2000, ACLTOP\n
  • Chemistry: Cobas Pro, ABL 90\n
  • Microbiology / Urinalysis: Gram Stain, Sysmex UF 5000, Siemens Novus, Cepheid GeneXpert\n

• Must be separated from BILH for 6+ months and in good standing\n

• Perform generalist duties across all laboratory departments (blood bank, hematology, chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis)\n
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments and point-of-care equipment\n
• Perform accurate testing and analysis; follow established laboratory protocols and quality control procedures\n
• Document and report results using Epic LIS; ensure data integrity and timely communication of critical values\n
• Collaborate with laboratory staff, technologists, and clinical teams to support patient care in a hospital setting\n
• Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday rotations as required for this night shift travel role\n
