\n\nRequired Qualifications – EEG Technologist / EEG Tech\n

• Minimum 2 years of EEG technologist experience in a hospital setting (neonatal through geriatric populations)\n
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required\n
• EEG certification required unless grandfathered by experience\n
• Proficiency with Nihon Kohden EEG software (required)\n
• Epic electronic charting experience preferred (Epic charting)\n
• Ability to float to ICU and perform EEG testing across units as needed\n
• Strong patient communication skills and clinical pattern recognition for electroencephalography\n

\n\nCore Responsibilities\n

• Perform EEG procedures for neonates, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a hospital neurology setting\n
• Prepare patients and conduct electrode placement, recording, measurement, and pattern recognition for routine and continuous EEG\n
• Wrap heads for continuous EEG monitoring and ensure high-quality recordings\n
• Float to ICU to complete EEG tests and collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams when required\n
• Use Nihon Kohden software for EEG acquisition and Epic for accurate charting and documentation\n
• Work collaboratively with EEG techs, EEG Supervisor, RRT/Code Team, and public safety officers to support patient care\n
• Complete orientation and participate in ongoing team collaboration and quality initiatives\n
