RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable day/night shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly with overtime after 80 hours worked in the second week
\n• 13-week contract length
\n• Patient ratios: Day shift 1:4-1:5, Night shift 1:6 average
\n• Float to ER and ICU as needed to assist
\n• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
\n• Can be placed on call for low census with 2-hour minimum call back
\n• Required certifications: Current Michigan RN license, AHA BLS, and ACLS
\n• Minimum 2+ years Med Surg experience required with ICU and ER experience
\n• Epic charting system experience required
\n• Provide general nursing care primarily for geriatric patients with CHF, COPD, and diabetic conditions
\n• Any colored scrubs allowed
\n• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
\n• Mask required during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination per facility policy
\n• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
