• Start Date: May 4, 2026\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks\n
• Shifts per Week: 5 (Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)\n
• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday required\n

• ASCP (BOC) certification required; CLS, M, MB or equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist credentials accepted\n
• Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory or hospital laboratory experience as a Medical Technologist / MLS / CLS\n
• Experience with rapid molecular testing, microbiology culture setup, positive blood culture processing, and Gram stain interpretation preferred\n
• Demonstrated attention to detail, commitment to laboratory quality and patient safety\n
• Ability to participate in weekend and holiday rotations per schedule\n

• Perform and document clinical laboratory testing, including molecular diagnostics and microbiology procedures\n
• Set up and incubate microbiology cultures; process and analyze positive blood cultures and perform Gram stains\n
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of laboratory results through proper QC, calibration, and documentation\n
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and laboratory staff to support patient diagnosis and treatment\n
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and follow safety and compliance protocols (CLIA, CAP, OSHA)\n
• Participate in weekend/holiday rotations and communicate results in a timely manner for patient care\n
