Responsibilities
Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies (SPECT, SPECT/CT, PET/CT) with precision and clinical expertise
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care: explain procedures, ensure comfort, and maintain safety at all times
Acquire and process diagnostic images, conduct daily quality control, and maintain radiopharmacy operations in compliance with NYSDOH guidelines
Manage and document patient data in the eRecord CUPID system; ensure regulatory and safety standards are met
Collaborate with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and colleagues to implement new technologies and continuously enhance lab protocols

Conduct SPECT blood flow studies, cardiac amyloidosis assessments, and a hybrid SPECT resting study followed by a PET sarcoid or viability study as part of routine imaging
Requirements
NYS Radiologic Technologist license (active)
NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification
2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
6 months of Cardiac Imaging experience
BLS certification
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program preferred
Ability to work in a hospital setting
