Overview Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Nuclear Cardiology travel assignment in Rochester, New York. Start date August 3, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,911 to $3,051 per week. Shift: 8-hour days in a hospital setting. This is a travel, temporary assignment with no guaranteed hours. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,911–$3,051 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour days; typical schedule with no on-call or weekend duties Start date: August 3, 2026 Location: Rochester, NY (travel assignment in a hospital setting) Guaranteed hours: None Responsibilities Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies (SPECT, SPECT/CT, PET/CT) with precision and clinical expertise Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care: explain procedures, ensure comfort, and maintain safety at all times Acquire and process diagnostic images, conduct daily quality control, and maintain radiopharmacy operations in compliance with NYSDOH guidelines Manage and document patient data in the eRecord CUPID system; ensure regulatory and safety standards are met Collaborate with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and colleagues to implement new technologies and continuously enhance lab protocols Uphold organizational values such as Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence in daily practice Conduct SPECT blood flow studies, cardiac amyloidosis assessments, and a hybrid SPECT resting study followed by a PET sarcoid or viability study as part of routine imaging Requirements NYS Radiologic Technologist license (active) NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience 6 months of Cardiac Imaging experience BLS certification Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program preferred Ability to work in a hospital setting Benefits and Support Competitive weekly pay 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Fast credentialing and onboarding assistance Extension opportunities PAY DISCLAIMER Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
