• Experience with night shift workflows, patient triage, and interdisciplinary communication\n

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized care plans\n
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate\n
• Supervise and collaborate with Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees\n
• Promote patient and staff safety by adhering to hospital policies, infection control, and safety protocols\n
• Initiate and coordinate discharge planning, patient education, and transitions of care\n
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record\n
• Communicate changes in patient status to the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care\n
• Support a positive team environment and participate in unit-based initiatives and professional development\n
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as requested after orientation and based on qualifications\n
