• Active New York State RN licensure required (NY RN)\n
• BLS and ACLS certifications required\n
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience as a Registered Nurse or Med-Surgical Nurse\n
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac care preferred\n
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays\n
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and technical nursing skills\n

• Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care in an acute Med/Surg unit\n
• Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams\n
• Deliver direct patient care, monitor clinical progress, and modify plans as necessary\n
• Perform telemetry monitoring and develop skills in cardiac and acute care nursing\n
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, self-care, discharge instructions, and lifestyle changes\n
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and evidence-based practice\n
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development\n
• Foster teamwork, delegate appropriately, and support unit leadership and clinical workflows\n
