IDR Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Psychiatric for a travel nursing job in Auburn, New York.

Psych RN – 13 Weeks | Night Shift | Auburn, NY | EOW & Holidays
A behavioral health facility in Auburn, NY is seeking a skilled Psychiatric RN for a 13-week night shift contract. This role requires strong crisis management skills and is ideal for RNs experienced in behavioral health care.
🕐 Schedule:
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Start date: 06/30/2025
- Every other weekend & holiday required
- 13-week assignment
- Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts at no cost
🏥 Facility Info:
- Proctored EKG exam on Day 1
- COVID-19 vaccine not required (must submit proof of vaccination or declination)
- No local travelers accepted within a 60-mile radius of Auburn, NY
✅ Requirements:
- Active NYS RN license
- BLS (AHA)
- NIHSS certification (required at time of submission)
- Crisis Intervention Training required
- Travel experience preferred
This is a great fit for a confident, calm-under-pressure RN ready to make a difference in a psychiatric care setting with stable night shifts and a supportive team.
13-week night shift assignment. Start date 6/30/25. Must have NYS RN license, BLS, NIHSS (at submission), and Crisis Intervention Training. EOW & holiday rotation required. No local travelers within 60 miles. Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts. COVID vaccine not required.
