Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS Oncology RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Join a dedicated Radiation Oncology nursing team providing compassionate care to patients undergoing radiation treatment. This travel nursing opportunity is based in Claremont, NH, offering day shifts and a collaborative work environment in a busy oncology unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care to radiation oncology patients, including new patient visits and education.
  • Perform occasional injections and assist with medical procedures.
  • Manage telephone triage to address patient concerns promptly.
  • Support patients throughout their treatment sessions, occasionally staying after hours to ensure completion of therapy.
  • Collaborate with a skilled professional team to provide comprehensive care to patients receiving chemotherapy and related treatments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with Medical-Surgical (MS) Oncology experience.
  • Proficiency with IV insertion and mediport access preferred, but not required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory.
  • Current flu vaccine required.
  • Strong communication and patient education skills.

Schedule:

  • Day shift, 8-hour shifts.
  • 4 shifts per week, typically 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • 40 hours per week.
