Location\nThis position is based in a healthcare facility located in the state of Vermont.
\n\nAssignment Duration\nThis is a 13-week contract position.
\n\nSchedule\nShifts are 10 hours long, with day and evening rotations, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week, including on-call responsibilities.
\n\nJob Description\nThe Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care in the Operating Room with a focus on orthopedic specialties, primarily total joint procedures. Candidates should have proficiency in scrubbing and ortho skills.
\n\nResponsibilities\n- \n
- Ensure safe and effective patient care in the OR. \n
- Assist in surgeries, utilizing orthopedic and scrubbing skills. \n
- Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals. \n
- Maintain sterile techniques and environment. \n
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient education and support. \n
- \n
- Current RN license in the state of Vermont. \n
- BLS certification is required. \n
- Experience in orthopedic surgery and scrubbing is highly preferred. \n
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR technology is preferred. \n
