RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with two shift options: 5:45 AM to 6:00 PM or 7:45 AM to 8:30 PM
\n• Three 12-hour shifts per week schedule
\n• On-call responsibilities include one 12-hour call shift (6:00 PM to 6:30 AM) and two 24-hour weekend calls (6:00 AM to 6:00 AM) per six-week period
\n• Minimum 2+ years of PACU experience required
\n• Arizona nursing license required
\n• BLS and ACLS certifications required
\n• Cerner EMR experience preferred
\n• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery
\n• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff
\n• Utilize nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and hospital policies
\n• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and clinical judgment for safe patient care delivery
\n• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
\n• Delegate patient care priorities and provide supervision of assigned personnel
\n• Position created for coverage during staff leave
