American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring strong cardiac monitoring skills and an active AL or compact RN license.

• Work in a hospital PCU/Stepdown setting
• Required to float to MedSurg units as needed
• Assigned to MS/Tele, Tele, and PCU/Stepdown work settings
• Patient ratios are 1:5
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30
• Strong emphasis on cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Start IVs, follow heparin protocols, and manage cardiac drips with no titration required

• Active Alabama or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and emergency response required
• Ability to start IVs, follow heparin protocols, and manage cardiac drips
• Required experience in MS/Tele, Tele, and Stepdown/PCU settings

• First time travelers are accepted
• Local candidates considered with a 60-mile radius rule in effect
• All requested time off (RTO) must be included at the time of contract confirmation as schedules cannot be adjusted afterwards
