RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work every other weekend with 12-hour shifts
\n• Patient ratio of 1:5 during days, nights, and weekends
\n• Float to Med/Surg units as needed
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, Alabama license
\n• Must have 2 years of nursing experience
\n• Required work settings experience: MS/Tele, Tele, and PCU/Stepdown
\n• Strong cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required
\n• Must be able to start IVs and follow Heparin protocols
\n• Manage cardiac drips without titration
\n• Skills required: Telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, Rapid Response/Code team participation
\n• Blood product administration and central/peripheral line care
\n• Oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management
\n• Isolation precautions and PPE compliance
\n• Accepts first-time travelers
\n• Schedules cannot be adjusted once contract is confirmed
\n• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
\n• Orientation includes specialty-specific modules
