Retail Pharmacist – Varied Shifts, Travel Assignment
Job Description
Join a retail pharmacy team in a 13-week travel assignment with varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. This role provides the opportunity to deliver patient-focused care, manage prescriptions, counsel patients, and collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure safe and effective medication use.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
- Administer vaccinations as certified
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff and healthcare providers to optimize patient care
- Utilize pharmacy software systems for prescription processing and inventory management
- Adhere to pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
- Vaccination certification required at the time of submission
- Experience with pharmacy software (e.g., RX30) preferred
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
