Overview American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Philip, South Dakota. Responsibilities Primary responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients across multiple care settings within the hospital and affiliated sites Reach full patient load and productivity by the second week after department orientation Maintain expected productivity of 75% Work with a team of PTs, PTAs, COTAs, OTs, and SLPs; EPIC EMR experience preferred Dress code allows scrubs or business casual May float between inpatient, outpatient, assisted living, and LTC/skilled facilities Requirements / Qualifications Active PT license required; license as applicable Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of recent PT experience, exclusive of clinical rotations Experience in acute care; preferred experience in long-term care and skilled nursing Preferred experience with post-op and long-term recovery therapy EPIC EMR experience preferred Availability for five 8-hour day shifts per week; typical schedule 0700-0900 start; occasional weekend shifts may be required; no holiday shifts Assignment Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Openings: 1 Start Date: Mar 12, 2026 Additional Information Locations: Philip, SD (acute care hospital setting in Philip, SD) Open to first-time travelers Within 30-mile eligibility radius Note: Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. #J-18808-Ljbffr
