Job Requirements

- Education Requirements: Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.\n\t
- Certifications Requirements: Current Texas PTA license, CPR certification, BLS certification.\n\t
- Experience Requirements: At least 1 year of experience as a PTA in a rehabilitation setting.\n\t
- Other Requirements: Ability to work independently, excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills.\n

Job Responsibilities

- Provide skilled physical therapy assistant services to patients in accordance with treatment plans and facility protocols.\n\t
- Collaborate with physical therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and modify patient care plans.\n\t
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment provided, and outcomes in electronic health records.\n\t
- Assist in patient assessments, including measuring progress and reporting changes to supervising therapists.\n\t
- Execute therapy exercises and patient education to promote recovery and enhance functional independence.\n
