Overview Registered Nurse – ER, Travel assignment in Los Angeles, CA. Start date 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $1,662–$1,736 per week. Guaranteed hours 0.0 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour days. Setting: Home Healthcare - Hospice travel assignment. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,662–$1,736 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts Start date: 07/06/2026 Setting: Home Healthcare - Hospice Responsibilities Perform triage and initial assessment of ER patients and determine priority of care. Administer medications and provide emergency interventions as ordered, monitoring patient response. Monitor vital signs, trajectories, and overall patient status; elevate changes in condition promptly. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans. Document all patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record and ensure standards of documentation and patient safety are met. Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in California (state of practice). BLS (American Heart Association) certification required; ACLS certification required. Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) training or certification required. BSN preferred; acute care facility experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced ER environment and participate in a 3x12-hour shift schedule for a travel assignment. Prior ER or acute care experience is preferred, with the ability to adapt to a home healthcare - hospice setting as assigned.
