Location: Peterborough, NH 03458

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary

Contract Length:13 weeks-Accepting Travel Candidates only

Pay Rate: $2200 to $2268 Weekly

Unit: Med Surg

Shift: 12 Hours; Nights, 7.00p - 7.30a

Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, Mon-Fri, Every other weekend

Position Requirements:

  • Current Med Surg Nursing experience: 2 years - Required
  • EMR experience - Required
  • TeleStrip Certified - Required
  • Willing to float to ICU (Acute need unit) - Required
  • Prior travel experience: Highly preferred
  • COVID Vaccinations or exemptions - Required

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

  • ASN - Required
  • BSN Preferred
  • RN License for State of New Hampshire or Compact - Required
  • BLS Certification from AHA - Required
  • PALS Certification from AHSA Required

Job Description:

  • The professional nurse providing care to medical/surgical patients utilizing all components of the nursing process (assesses, develops, plans, implements, and evaluates) in the plan of care.
  • Must assess and identify patient problems/needs
  • Will establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the patient plan of care based on patient progress
  • Responsible for assisting, supporting, and educating patients
  • Use EMR for documents
  • Read vital signs and provide injections/vaccinations
  • Float to ICU which is just a more acute need unit
