RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
\n• Primary assignment at PMC location but must be willing to float to Main campus OR as staffing needs require
\n• No weekend requirement but can volunteer for call at Main campus
\n• No on-call requirement, but expected to stay and finish scheduled cases if they run past block time
\n• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
\n• BLS Certification required via AHA
\n• ACLS Certification required via AHA
\n• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
\n• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
\n• Provide routine and complex patient care utilizing the nursing process
\n• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols
\n• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given
\n• Assess learning needs and provide patient/family education
\n• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
\n• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers
