Position Name: Travel Registered Nurse Telemetry

Location: Mount Clemens, MI 48043

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary

Contract Length:13 weeks-Accepting Local and Travel Candidates

Pay Rate: Local-$1900 to Travel-$2124 weekly

Unit: Telemetry

Shift: 12 Hours; Nights, 7p-7.30a

Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 X 12-hr shifts per week, every other weekend

Position Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required
  • Telemetry Nursing experience: Recent/Current 3+ years Required
  • Paragon EMR experience - Highly preferred

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

  • ASN or an equivalent Required
  • BSN or an equivalent Highly preferred
  • RN License for State of MI - Required
  • BLS Certifications from AHA - Required
  • ACLS Certification from AHA Preferred
  • NIHSS Certification - Required (Can obtain upon offer)

Job Description:

  • Provide all aspects of Nursing care for patients in Telemetry units.
  • The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process.
    Works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice
  • Carries out functions according to hospital policy, the hospital mission, and standards of practice defined by professional and regulatory guidelines
  • Directs, coordinates and delegates activities in order to foster patient / family centered care.
  • Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
  • Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
  • Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
  • Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
