The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will be responsible for providing critical respiratory care to patients in a fast-paced medical environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting patient assessments to determine respiratory needs
    • \n
  • Administering prescribed respiratory treatments and therapies
    • \n
  • Monitoring patient progress and response to treatment
    • \n
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to create care plans
    • \n
  • Providing education to patients and families regarding respiratory health
    • \n
\n\nQualifications\n
    \n
  • Current New York State License
    • \n
  • National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification
    • \n
  • Associate's Degree from an accredited respiratory care program
    • \n
  • Proficiency in critical care respiratory procedures
    • \n
  • Current certifications in: \n
      \n
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
      • \n
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
      • \n
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
      • \n
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
      • \n
    \n
    • \n
\n\nExperience Requirements\n

Minimum of one year of work experience in a relevant role with specific experience in Labor and Delivery, as well as Neonatal Resuscitation.

This position is located in Glens Falls, NY.
