  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist (acute care/critical care experience preferred)\n
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the NBRC\n
  • Active Ohio Respiratory Therapy license\n
  • ACLS & BLS certifications (American Heart Association)\n
  • Strong skills in ventilator management, airway management, and pulmonary function testing\n
\n\nResponsibilities\n
    \n
  • Provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care to inpatients and outpatients following medical staff protocols and department policies\n
  • Monitor and manage mechanical ventilation, ventilator settings and weaning protocols\n
  • Maintain airways, perform intubations and assist with invasive airway procedures\n
  • Insert arterial lines and perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis\n
  • Deliver medicated aerosols and oxygen therapy using medical compressed gases\n
  • Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive cardiopulmonary procedures\n
  • Conduct pulmonary function studies, cardiac/pulmonary stress testing and other respiratory diagnostics\n
