\n\nJob Requirements / Qualifications\n

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist certification (RRT) required\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a hospital respiratory therapy setting\n
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including possible weekends and holidays\n
• BLS required; ACLS preferred\n
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient communication skills\n
• Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams\n
• State licensure or ability to obtain a Pennsylvania Respiratory Therapist license prior to start\n

\n\nKey Responsibilities\n

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to adult patients in the hospital setting as a Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT)\n
• Manage mechanical ventilation, ventilator adjustments, and ventilator weaning per protocols\n
• Perform airway management, oxygen therapy, aerosolized medication administration, and chest physiotherapy\n
• Monitor and assess patient responses to therapy, including arterial blood gas (ABG) interpretation and clinical adjustments\n
• Provide tracheostomy care, extubation support, and participate in emergency/rapid response teams\n
• Document treatments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies\n
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans\n
