Certification Details
- Ashley Regional Medical Center is a Joint Commission Accredited 39-bed hospital located in Vernal, Utah.
- The Emergency Room treats over 14,000 patients a year and is staffed 24-hours a day with a dedicated emergency room physician.
- Ashley Regional is a designated Level IV Trauma Center, a Stroke Receiving Facility by the Utah State Department of Health, Chest Pain Accredited, and holds a 5-star CMS rating.
- Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Respiratory Therapy department.
- Role involves working with all age groups including neonatal and critical care patients.
- Common diagnoses treated include Asthma, COPD, and care for premature infants.
- Must be able to work independently and be a fast learner.
- Required education: NBRC RRT certification.
Job Details
- Required certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP, ACLS.
- Must hold a Respiratory Therapist (RT) License/Certification valid in Utah.
- Years of experience required: 2+ years (higher value between 1-2+ and 1-2+ is 2+).
- Must have skills in Critical Care, Neonatal, and General Respiratory Therapy.
- Must be outgoing and friendly.
Job Requirements
- Day shift.
- Work schedule: 6 days on, 8 days off.
- 12-hour shifts.
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 hours including weekend hours.
- No call requirements.
Schedule Information
- Facility Department/Cost Center: Respiratory Therapy.
- Number of openings: 1.
- Floor: All.
- Patient population includes all age groups (geriatric, adult, pediatric, neonatal).
- Equipment used: Vents, Bipaps, Vapotherm, Infant Nasal CPAP.
- Electronic Health Record system: Medhost.
- Patient ratios vary.
- Scrub color: Navy Blue.
- No street clothes allowed.
Unit Specific Information
- Local rate applies only if greater than 60 miles from facility to be considered travel.
