MedCadre is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Walla Walla, Washington.

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Contract
 Location: Walla Walla, Washington 
Start Date: May 4, 2026 

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day Shift – 3x12s day/night
Schedule: Block scheduling available 
Position Type: Contract
 

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a dynamic respiratory care team. The RRT will provide comprehensive respiratory care across all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations, in a high-acuity hospital setting.
 

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform respiratory assessments and diagnostic testing
  • Manage ventilators, including BiPAP, CPAP, and weaning
  • Administer respiratory medications and therapies
  • Provide airway management (trach care, suctioning, extubation)
  • Respond to critical situations including trauma and emergency care
  • Assist with procedures such as C-sections, cardioversions, and high-risk deliveries
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory care
  • Document care using Epic
Requirements

Minimum 1 year of RRT experience
RRT Certification (Required)
Active Washington State License
 BLS & ACLS required
 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in NICU, Pediatrics, or Critical Care
  • Certifications: PALS, NRP (preferred)
  • Experience in teaching or community hospital settings
