Respiratory Therapist (RT)\n\n\n⚠️ Start Date Requirement: Must start by 03/23 or 03/30\n⚠️ 50-mile radius rule – Must provide permanent address in submission to verify eligibility\n\nShift & Schedule\n\n7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM\n\nScheduler creates assignments based on staffing needs\n\nBlock scheduling not guaranteed (may be accommodated when possible)\n\nOvertime may be available\n\nWeekend Requirement: Every other weekend\nHoliday Requirement: Required if scheduled during holiday\nCall: None\n\nPatient Coverage\n\nAdult floors\n\nPediatrics\n\nNICU\n\nPediatric RTs may cover adult patients\n\nAdult RTs will not cover pediatrics\n\nExperience Requirements\n\nRRT preferred\n\nWill accept CRT with 3–5 years experience\n\n2–3 years RT experience required (RRT)\n\nFirst-time travelers accepted\n\nNICU Experience:\n\nMust know NAVA (Neurally Adjusted Ventilatory Assist) on Cervo vents if covering NICU\n\nJob Duties\n\nManage RT equipment and therapies\n\nPatient transport\n\nABG management\n\nAssist with intubation (not independent intubation)\n\nNo EKG responsibilities\n\nCertifications Required\n\nAdult Units:\n\nBLS\n\nACLS\n\nPediatric Units:\n\nBLS\n\nPALS\n\nNICU Units:\n\nBLS\n\nNRP\n\nEquipment\n\nDraeger Ventilators (Adults)\n\nServo U Ventilators (Peds)\n\nV60 BiPAP\n\nVapotherm / Optiflow\n\nPhilips Cough Assist\n\nResMed CPAP\n\nHill-Rom Vest & Metaneb\n\nSupport Structure\n\nHospitalist & Intensivist in-house 24/7\n\nLead RT on each shift (resource & staffing support)\n\nTypically 15–20 RTs on days; 10–12 on nights\n\nTraveler will not work as sole RT\n\nFloating\n\nMay float to:\n\nMeridian Medical Center\n\nNampa Medical Center\n\nOrientation\n\nTypically 2–3 shifts total\n\n1 shift adult floor care\n\n1 shift pediatrics (if applicable)\n\n1 shift NICU (if covering)\n\nAdditional ICU orientation if required\n\nDress Code\n\nAny clean, professional scrub color
