Job Title Travel Respiratory Therapist - NICU RT Assignment Overview Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Jul 13, 2026 Length: 12 weeks Openings: 1 Details NICU setting at an acute care hospital Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00 Every other weekend required No on-call required Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed 12-week contract Requirements RRT credential required — CRT will not be accepted Minimum 1 year of NICU experience Active professional licensure required if applicable Copies of all applicable certifications required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are accepted RTO maximum of 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work those holidays with no holiday RTO permitted; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of them and may request one holiday off for approval Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day Travelers must have been away from all facilities in this health system for a minimum of one full year before returning as a traveler No alternate shift or schedule change requests are permitted — the posted night shift is firm Travel pairs will not be placed on the same shift within the same unit Benefits Premium medical, dental, vision, and life insurance beginning day one of the assignment Generous 401(k) match Substantial housing stipends 24/7 support and access to in-house clinicians Job Information American Traveler Job ID #P-723557.
