\n\nSchedule\nDay Shift: 3x12-Hour (09:00 - 21:00)
\n\nJob Description\nThis position requires a floating Registered Nurse with expertise in Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby Unit, Special Care Nursery, and pediatrics. The nurse will float within a network of hospitals based on the needs of the facility.
\n\nResponsibilities\n- \n
- Support patients in Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby Unit, Special Care Nursery, and pediatric consultations. \n
- Adhere to baby-friendly protocols, provide breastfeeding instructions, and manage breast engorgement. \n
- Ensure proper breast milk collection and storage, and maintain infant identification procedures. \n
- Evaluate and care for low birth weight infants and those experiencing neonatal abstinence syndrome. \n
- Monitor telemetry and assist in units where required. \n
- \n
- 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery nursing. \n
- IBCLC certification required. \n
- Epic charting experience is preferred. \n
- Active NJ or Compact RN license. \n
- BLS certification required at the time of submission. \n
