American Traveler is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a CVOR Tech position at a Magnet-designated, Level III Trauma teaching hospital in Minnesota, requiring at least 1 year of CVOR experience and proficiency with complex cardiac and vascular cases. Requirements Active MN surgical technologist license required; pending license not accepted NBSTSA or NCCT national certification required Current BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of CVOR scrub tech experience required Demonstrated experience with the following procedures required: AAA repair, ASD repair, carotid endarterectomy, CABG, EVAR, femoral‑popliteal bypass, mitral valve replacement, pericardial window, TAVR, TEVAR, VAD, and ECMO At least 1 supervisor reference required for consideration Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible Responsibilities Work setting is a short-term acute care Magnet hospital with Level III Trauma designation CVOR unit with 6 total ORs: 4 standard ORs, 1 hybrid room, and 1 peripheral vascular (PV) room Required cardiac cases include CABG (on/off pump), AVR, MVR, TVR, aortic aneurysm/dissection, total artificial heart, heart transplant, LVAD implantation, minimally invasive valve replacement, and transcatheter mitral/aortic/tricuspid valve replacement Required vascular cases include AAA, thoracic and thoracoabdominal aneurysm repair (including fenestrated grafts), endarterectomy, bypass for peripheral artery disease, amputation, and ECMO decannulation and repositioning Preferred case experience includes general, endo/laparoscopic, vascular, thoracic, bariatric, and transplant procedures Charting performed in Epic/Excellian; experience required Available shifts: Days (6:45–15:15) and Evenings (14:45–23:15), 5x8‑hour schedule; mid‑shift option also available (9:30–18:00) On‑call required up to 2 weekdays per week and up to 2 weekends per month, with holiday call as needed No floating to sister facilities Scrubs are provided by the facility for this position Parking is available at a flat rate of $0.55/hour First‑time travelers are welcome to apply RTO requests should not exceed 5 days for the duration of the contract Candidates who previously worked at this facility as permanent staff or per diem must have been separated for at least 3 months from their last shift to be eligible Pre‑start online modules are required to be completed before the first day of the assignment This facility does not provide references to travelers following assignment completion or for those who previously worked as permanent employees Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non‑taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-719977 Open Positions: 2 #J-18808-Ljbffr
