• Unit: PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)

• Weekend/holiday: Required

• Call: Required (60-minute response time)

• Radius rule: 100 miles (use candidate home zip to confirm local vs travel)

Hard requirements (must-have)

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing

• Active NYS RN license

• Previous PACU RN experience (required)

• Current BLS

• Current ACLS and/or PALS required (requirement states ACLS/PALS required - safest is to submit with both active)

• Able to take call with 60-minute response time

• Strong dysrhythmia interpretation skills (lethal rhythms)

Preferred

• 1+ year Med/Surg experience

• Preceptorship/charge/leadership experience (may act as charge)

• OR/ASU environment familiarity and aseptic/clinical instrumentation knowledge

• Safe patient handling/lift use experience

• Updated resume showing PACU experience clearly (facility, dates, unit details)

• NYS RN license proof + expiration

• BLS card + expiration

• ACLS card + expiration

• PALS card + expiration

• Proof/statement of ability to meet 60-minute call response time

• Home address/zip to verify 100-mile rule

• RTO (requested time off) at time of submission (always include even if "none")

• Two professional references (preferably PACU leadership/charge) if your recruiter packet typically requires it.
