Position Name: Travel Registered Nurse - Utilization Review / Case Manager

Location: Peterborough, NH 03458

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary

Contract Length:13 weeks-Accepting Travel Candidates only

Pay Rate: $2520 Weekly

Unit: Acute Care

Shift: 8 Hours; Nights, 8.00a - 5.00p

Schedule: 40 hours / week guaranteed, 5 shifts per week, Mon-Fri, Occasional weekend and holiday rotation if required

Position Requirements:

  • Acute Care Nursing experience: 5 years - Required
  • Current/recent Case Management experience: 1 year - Required
  • Current/recent Utilization Review and/or Discharge Planning experience: 1 year - Required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel) - Required
  • Prior travel experience: Highly preferred
  • Case Management Certification - Required

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

  • ASN - Required
  • BSN Preferred
  • RN License for State of New Hampshire or Compact - Required
  • BLS Certification from AHA - Required
  • Case Management Certification Required

Job Description:

  • The UR RN/Case Manager responsibilities
  • Accountable for a designated caseload and plans effectively to manage the length of stay, promote efficient utilization of resources and facilitate payer authorization.
  • Facilitates collaborative management of patient care, intervenes as necessary to remove barriers to efficient care delivery,
  • Applies process improvement methodologies in evaluating the outcomes of care coordination
  • Supports and coaches clinical documentation by staff and providers ensuring documentation reflects the severity of illness and intensity of service.
