Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality respiratory care in our Glenwood Springs, CO facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with respiratory conditions, and will work closely with the medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This position requires clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Duties
  • Assess, monitor, and treat patients with respiratory disorders, including administering oxygen therapy and aerosolized medications.
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases (ABG) and pulmonary function tests.
  • Manage mechanical ventilation for patients in critical care settings.
  • Provide respiratory education to patients and their families regarding respiratory conditions and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement respiratory care plans.
  • Respond to respiratory emergencies, providing life-saving interventions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and calibrated according to hospital standards.
Requirements
  • Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, CO license
  • Must have Neonatal and Peds experience
  • Must have excellent Critical Care/Ventilator skills and experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
