Position Details:

  • Type: Travel RN - Operating Room
  • Unit: Surgical unit with 4 OR rooms and a team of 5 RNs and 6 surgical techs
  • Schedule: Day shift (7:00 AM 3:30 PM), with on-call night shifts (3:30 PM 7:00 AM, Monday-Friday)
  • Scrub Color: Grey scrubs provided and laundered by the hospital

Responsibilities:

  • Provide perioperative nursing care for a variety of procedures including robotic prostatectomies and hysterectomies, orthopedic surgeries (shoulder, knee, hip, trauma), gynecological laparoscopic and open procedures, ENT, podiatry, spine fusions, and more
  • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes
  • Maintain proficiency in EMR documentation (Meditech) and support compliance with Joint Commission certifications
  • Assist in endoscopy procedures as needed

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years hospital-based OR nursing experience required
  • Active New Hampshire RN license at time of application
  • BLS certification required
  • Recent OR experience highly preferred
  • CNOR certification and scrub procedure experience are strong pluses
