Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Massachusetts Certified Special Education Teacher to support elementary-level students in a travel assignment based in North Billerica, MA. This position focuses on delivering inclusive education and targeted pull-out instruction for students with special education needs within a general elementary setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide inclusion support in general education classrooms alongside regular education teachers.
  • Deliver individualized pull-out instruction to students requiring specialized support.
  • Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to the needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching Certification.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students in inclusive and pull-out settings.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, strategies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs.

Assignment Details:

  • Location: North Billerica, MA
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6.5 hours per day (32.5 hours weekly)
  • Assignment Duration: Immediate start through June 16, 2026
  • This is a travel position supporting a local school district.
