Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contracted teaching position offers an opportunity to work as a Special Education Teacher in a travel assignment located in Burgaw, NC. The role involves serving a high school caseload within an adapted curriculum classroom setting. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with an immediate start date through the end of the school year (6/1).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs within a special education framework
  • Implement adapted curriculum strategies to support high school students
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
