ProKatchers is seeking a travel Sterile Processing Technician for a travel job in Machias, Maine.

Shift: 8:30am to 1700
\n\nWork Experience:\n- \n\t
- Ensures proper operating of autoclave units prior to use on a daily basis \n\t
- Responsible for ensuring biological and chemical tests at beginning of every day shift if assigned and record results in appropriate log \n\t
- Inspects gas and steam autoclaves for visible signs of malfunction \n\t
- Processes contaminated instruments and supplies returned to Central Service \n\t
- Uses knowledge of sterilization principles to correctly wrap or package items for sterilization \n\t
- Processes all items appropriately following manufacturer’s instructions \n\t
- Assists with training and in-services for new and long term employees \n
\nCRCST \n\n \n\nCertifications:
\nBLS/CPR Certification.
