Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity is available for a registered nurse with Operating Room Tech (ORT) expertise to support surgical services in a prominent New Hampshire medical center. This travel assignment offers the chance to work in a dynamic surgical environment with a dedicated team providing high-quality patient care.

Location:Situated in Derry, NH, this facility features a state-of-the-art main floor surgical department with four operating rooms. The unit is well-staffed with experienced RNs and Surgical Technologists, performing a wide range of procedures including robotic surgeries, orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, gynecology, bariatrics, podiatry, and spine surgeries. The hospital uses Meditech EMR and is certified by the Joint Commission for knee and hip surgeries.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams in robotic, orthopedic, gynecologic, general, ENT, and other specialized surgeries.
  • Maintain sterile fields and assist in scrub duties as required.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and weekend coverage.
  • Adhere to hospital protocols including dress code and infection control standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active NH state nursing license at time of application.
  • Minimum 2 years of hospital OR experience required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Recent operating room experience preferred.
  • CNOR certification and scrub procedure skills are advantageous.
  • Flexibility and a positive, team-oriented attitude are essential.

Schedule:

  • Day shifts: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
  • Night shifts: On-call Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM 7:00 AM
  • Weekend coverage approximately every 5-6 weeks
  • One call night per week
